Email asking for names of Philosophy and History profs ca1971, including who taught Russian history. No Russian history in History Dept. section, but some history as well as language in Foreign Languages minor in Russian section. Scanned, merged and sent pages for those depts from the '71-72 catalog to her.

Sarah C. Smith

A new email from the prof at Hokusei Gakuen University in Sapporo, Japan, seeking further information on Sarah C. Smith who was a student here a term or two then went on to become a missionary in Japan for the Presbyterians and helped found this college. (emeriti Kazumi Nakano attended this school.)Will take some digging, more local/western NY history than college history specifically. Replied, said will get to it as soon as I can, will keep him posted.

Slide scanning

Chris Norment in Env Sci has slides he wants scanned, and his son who is a history major here contacted me about doing it. I will be talking to him about times he can come in, show him how it works...

Duff - intern

Spent a couple hours working with UB library school student showing her scanning & photoshop editing basics. She will be scanning the Blanket Tax/Student Council etc. pages from the Saga for me.
