Two local history ?

One on Friday, re church history in Brockport, shared link of just posted 1913 BR supplement, some other resources. The other is a student who called leaving a message, have called back. Both are working over at the village museum apparently.

Kappa Delta Pi

Member of this honor society stopped by, inquiring about their original charter. I didn't have that, but was able to find some history of the society, especially in the 1949 Saga & Stylus. Apparently an honor society was formed in 1949 with the intent of becoming a KDP chapter, and they succeeded, getting their charter in 1949.

Erie Canal Expansion

Margay Blackman emailed, is a village trustee nowadays, and village got a grant to hire an artist to do a mural of the canal; the focus is on the last expansion ca1914. I have about 15 images in the glass plate collection, supplied a sample to her, said would work with artist etc.
